Community Living Camp

 


DAY 1

We all reported in the campus on 9.30. Then we had our inauguration function of the camp.After that we went to the first session of the camp, the ice breaking by Vivek sir. Then we take a lunch break and rejoin the session 2 of sculpture art by shiyaas sir. In the evening we had a camp fire and review section followed by dinner.




DAY 2

In the morning, we had a mediation section followed by breakfast. The session 3 started on 10.00am. The class based on theatre based life skills. In the afternoon, we beautify the campus and had oru evening tea and snacks. 


DAY 3

6/11/24 Wednesday is the third day of the camp. We had a trekking section in the morning and we had our breakfast. Followed by a session based on illuminating your path.After the lunch, we conduct a old age home visit near venjaramoodu.In the night we have a elevate class by Dr.Joju John on 'Leadership training program '. After the section we ate our dinner and conducted a small camp fire as a entertainment and refresh time.




DAY 4

After the morning pulse we had the Aerobics as our session 6. For the lunch we made special biriyani. In the afternoon we conducted a dazzle and delight talent show. It was really a splendid festival of talent and enjoyment. 



DAY 5

8/11/2024 Friday was the final day of our camp and it was a field study. The place  was wagamon and paruthumpara. The field study trip to Wagamon and Parunthumpara was an unforgettable experience that combined scenic beauty, adventure, and learning. Located in the Idukki district of Kerala, both destinations are renowned for their breathtaking landscapes and serene ambiance. We reached the college on 11.00 pm.

Day 1: Teaching practice

      Today we started our teaching practice journey. We have a 40 days of teaching practice according to our third semester. We 8 student teachers from kaaviyattu        college got charge in Kanniakulangara Girls school. We all came before 9.30am and reported to the headmaster. After signing the daily attendance, sir gave us valuable informations and guidance for our school journey. As per time table I have no period today. We also served the mid day meals to the students and helped the storekeeper for arranging items. At 3.30 after national anthem we part away.

Day 2: Teaching practice

      We all came before 9.30 and signed our attendance on Headmaster room. Rainy morning gaves a cold start to the day. I took class on 2nd period as per my timetable.At 8C I just introducted about cell clusters and taught about meristemic tissue. I got a fine and warm response on my first class on teaching practice. This buildup my confidence and energy. Then we served the mid day meals. In the afternoon section I got a substitution period on 9th class. I casually spoke to students and gave them a simple activity game. I also helped my teacher to list the biology marklist. We part away after National anthem.

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 5

 DAY 16      Today is the refreshing start to our teaching practice journey after the Onam vacation. We all are eager and thrilled to start the week. We all reached the school before 9.30 and marked the attendance.I have no class as per the timetable. So I had to finish my works and Lesson plan. Then I went for a substitution class. In the afternoon section we served the food. We all leave the school premise after 3.30. DAY 17      I reached the school on 9.15 and marked the register and waited for others to join. I had class on 9E in the 4th period. The topic was 'Respiration'. I took class with help of ICT and solid lesson plan. In the afternoon we served the food to students. Mid day meal now became a part of our life. We left the school after 3.30pm. DAY 18      Arrived on 9.20 and signed the attendance. I had 3 perioda today. 2 periods on 9th and one in 8th standard.
