Teaching practice: week 4

 DAY 12

A good Warm day after the weekend.As usual we signed our attendance and listen to the morning prayer song. I luckily got a free period on my 9th class and I took it. I completed double circulation and gave proper Activities. Then I had no periods, so I helped my friends and sat in the place which we got. School Election pledge taken place in the school auditorium and School panel is taken charge. In the lunch hour, We served the food and ate from the School kitchen. Afternoon section was a sleepy one. After the national anthem we went to our houses. 


DAY 13

  We all came before 9.30 and done our usual procedures. I had continuous 3 hours class in the afternoon. I got a substitution in 8th class and just gave them a simple activity and interacted with them. At the lunch break, We delivered the food. Today Mid meal had special egg curry. After that we heard the usual School radio which is very informative and entertaining. Then I went to the 9th class and taught about the health of heart and ECG,Pulse and BP showing videos and activities. Then I took the 8th class levels of organization and finished the chapter and cleared doubt of the students. In the last period again I went to the 9th class and taught about xylem and phloem. Actually it was IT period for them, but My guide teacher is in charge of IT and I got the period.


DAY 14

The second last of our Ist phase of 3rd Sem teaching practice. We did our morning routine then I got a period and I finished my chapter. The students was very busy with their screening process for arts and exhibition.I also helped the teacher and covered the Portion in 7th standard Basic Science. We helped the teachers for next day exhibition program. We leave after 3.30 from school campus.


DAY 15

The last day of the First phase teaching practice was happened. As usual we all came before 9.30 and marked our attendance. Today was the School science, mathematics, Social Science and work experience fair. The festive program showcased the vast talent of the youth.Wr also helped the students and also teachers for arranging and analysing the work done by them. In the lunch hour, we served the mid day meals very happily and ate the school food together. In the afternoon time I took the class on 9E by a Innovative model based class. The topic was - Conduction in plants.Them we met our respected teachers and reported that oru First phase is over. Then we went to the Headmaster Room and informed Sir about the first phase closure. Sir really covered us with good speech. Before the departure he said to come back immediately. We were really happy for his great and heartfelt words. Then we saw the students and gave them wishes and take a small tea break before the next phase.

      Today we started our teaching practice journey. We have a 40 days of teaching practice according to our third semester. We 8 student teachers from kaaviyattu        college got charge in Kanniakulangara Girls school. We all came before 9.30am and reported to the headmaster. After signing the daily attendance, sir gave us valuable informations and guidance for our school journey. As per time table I have no period today. We also served the mid day meals to the students and helped the storekeeper for arranging items. At 3.30 after national anthem we part away.

Day 2: Teaching practice

      We all came before 9.30 and signed our attendance on Headmaster room. Rainy morning gaves a cold start to the day. I took class on 2nd period as per my timetable.At 8C I just introducted about cell clusters and taught about meristemic tissue. I got a fine and warm response on my first class on teaching practice. This buildup my confidence and energy. Then we served the mid day meals. In the afternoon section I got a substitution period on 9th class. I casually spoke to students and gave them a simple activity game. I also helped my teacher to list the biology marklist. We part away after National anthem.

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 5

 DAY 16      Today is the refreshing start to our teaching practice journey after the Onam vacation. We all are eager and thrilled to start the week. We all reached the school before 9.30 and marked the attendance.I have no class as per the timetable. So I had to finish my works and Lesson plan. Then I went for a substitution class. In the afternoon section we served the food. We all leave the school premise after 3.30. DAY 17      I reached the school on 9.15 and marked the register and waited for others to join. I had class on 9E in the 4th period. The topic was 'Respiration'. I took class with help of ICT and solid lesson plan. In the afternoon we served the food to students. Mid day meal now became a part of our life. We left the school after 3.30pm. DAY 18      Arrived on 9.20 and signed the attendance. I had 3 perioda today. 2 periods on 9th and one in 8th standard.
