TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 5

 DAY 16      Today is the refreshing start to our teaching practice journey after the Onam vacation. We all are eager and thrilled to start the week. We all reached the school before 9.30 and marked the attendance.I have no class as per the timetable. So I had to finish my works and Lesson plan. Then I went for a substitution class. In the afternoon section we served the food. We all leave the school premise after 3.30. DAY 17      I reached the school on 9.15 and marked the register and waited for others to join. I had class on 9E in the 4th period. The topic was 'Respiration'. I took class with help of ICT and solid lesson plan. In the afternoon we served the food to students. Mid day meal now became a part of our life. We left the school after 3.30pm. DAY 18      Arrived on 9.20 and signed the attendance. I had 3 perioda today. 2 periods on 9th and one in 8th standard. I lost my first class due to a Malayalam examination conducted sch...

Observation Day 🧑🏻‍🏫

     Today was the first optional and general observation for me in my teaching practice section. So it was a really special to me. I took the 8 C class in the first period of the day. Optional teacher Preethi and General teacher Viji attended the class. I submitted the Lesson plan with reflective journel. I took the 3rd chapter with the help of ICT and Activity cards. After the class teacher suggested few changes and tips for improving the class. This observation inspired me to refine my teaching skills, method, creativity and adaptability.

Onam Celebration 🌸

 Onam, the grand festival of Kerala, is a vibrant celebration that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds. Rooted in mythology and history, it marks the annual homecoming of the legendary King Mahabali, whose reign is celebrated as a time of prosperity and equality. The festival, which typically spans ten days, is celebrated with an array of traditional customs, games, and feasts that highlight Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. We celebrated our Onam with different Onam sports and sadhya. This will be our last onam in the college. We all engaged in the Onam vibe and busy with taking photos.Onam is more than just a festival. It’s a celebration of Kerala’s history, culture, and the unbreakable bond between its people. Through rituals, feasts, and vibrant festivities, Onam keeps alive the legacy of King Mahabali and the values of equality and harmony.

Arts Day ❤️

        We conducted Our College Arts day on 10th September. It is the vibrant celebration of self-expression, imagination, and innovation.  Today, we honor the transformative power of art, embracing its capacity to inspire, educate, and unite us. Respected Principal along with Art club secretary and chairman inaugurated the function. All teachers are present in the auditorium. Then the stage showcased the memorable performances of dear friends. Arts Day reminds us that creativity is a universal language, bridging cultures and generations. Let's cherish and promote art's impact on our lives. I am really thrilled to made a lifelong memories with my friends and teachers.

       Teachers’ Day is a special occasion celebrated to honor and appreciate the remarkable contributions of teachers in shaping our lives and building the future of society. Observed on September 5th in India, it coincides with the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a renowned philosopher, scholar, and former President of India. This day serves as a reminder of the pivotal role teachers play in nurturing young minds, inspiring lifelong learning, and fostering growth. We celebrated Teachers day with great love and respect to our teachers. We showed all our love in the form of programs. Hope all of them enjoyed and made it memorable.

Fresher's Day 🎂

Freshers' Day marks an exciting beginning for new students embarking on their academic journey. It’s a day filled with joy, anticipation, and a hint of nervousness as freshmen step into a new environment. This event not only welcomes newcomers but also fosters connections between students and creates lasting memories. We conducted the program in the afternoon section. The program was colourful with variety of programs and enjoyable tasks. We also provided a small refreshments to them. Freshers' Day is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of new beginnings. By embracing the opportunities it presents, students can lay the foundation for a rewarding and fulfilling college experience. Whether you're dancing with new friends or soaking in advice from seniors, this day is just the start of an incredible journey ahead.
